Sandy Cemetery Client: Sandy Town Council /Cemetery Development Services Location: Sandy, Bedfordshire PROJECT FOCUS Overview Sandy Cemetery improvement and expansion project involved the delivery of extensive landscaping, infrastructure, and access upgrades to support long-term community use. The works were carried out with careful consideration for site sensitivity, including designated archaeological zones and the need for a respectful cemetery environment. Barrow-upon-Soar Parish Council

Barrow-upon-Soar Parish Council sought to extend the existing cemetery on Cotes Road to provide a further 92 burial plots and landscaping to create a beautiful garden of rest for the village. An area of land adjacent to the cemetery was purchased and plans were drawn up to develop the first phase in 2022.
